I figured it out. The main reason why I’m drawn to French “Pop Urbaine”. It’s the same reason why RedOne is one of my favorite producers of all time. Their sound is just so global. The melodies are so exotic, like you’re on a trip somewhere foreign. On top of a vibey beat. Not to mention loving some of the scenery in their music videos. There’s no more RedOnes, Timbalands, Max Martins, Akons, etc. in today’s pop music anymore(at least not as prominent), so me being the fiend I am, I’ve had to tap more into European playlists like “Chill House” and “Pop Urbaine” for my “new music with catchy melodies” fix 🤣 🤣 🤣.
